As part of our Memento collection, this design was inspired by vintage flea market finds, the Victorian era, and classic artwork that reminisces the early days of Fringe.

Tracey’s casual drawing style captures the vitality of a big bouquet bundled together at a local market. Flat colors overlaid with black lines are characteristic of mid-century graphic design. The result is fresh and modern with some retro airs.

Memento Found Art Note
DAPHNE
Daphne is recreated from antique silk screened art, perhaps an old French wallpaper sample. She was found in a print vendor’s market stall and buried in a stick of antique ephemera. The pattern is a typical French provincial motif with some East Indian influences.
